As the Director of Sustainability Advisory Services, Tanis brings over 30 years of experience leading sustainability and environmental health and safety programs across a variety of public and private industries.
As an award-winning innovator corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, Tanis provides clients with expertise in global sustainability benchmarking, implementation, performance measurement and disclosures.
Before joining TRC Companies, Tanis worked at Woodard & Curran, PQ Corporation and Hexion Inc., where she led strategies that addressed global challenges such as worker health, decarbonization, supply chain and ESG risk reduction through novel stakeholder engagement.
As Director of Sustainability Advisory, Tanis and her team complement our Climate Risk and Resilience and Energy Transition Project teams with their strategy, materiality, disclosures and authoring services.
Tanis was recently recognized by Marquis Who’s Who for Transformative Contributions to Sustainability and ESG Leadership. Additionally, she co-authored book titled, “Connecting the Dots: Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability,” published by Wiley, is due out March 2025.
