NSC Networks - 2026 Meeting Policies 

NSC Cancellation/Substitution Policy
Cancellations made before August 1st, 2026 are preferred. To cancel or change your registration, please email kenzie.colton@nsc.org.

If you are unable to attend but would like to send a colleague in your place, please email kenzie.colton@nsc.org. Last minute substitutions are accepted if unavoidable.

Risk Waiver
You understand and acknowledge the risks associated with attending this event and you are fully aware that you may be exposed to infection, illness, injury, or otherwise. In consideration of the above, you hereby release the National Safety Council of any liability related to your attendance.

Photography, Audio and Video Recording
Participants must follow the photography, audio and video recording policies at the event locations. If you need clarity around the policies, please check with event organizers at the event. NSC reserves the right to use meeting participant’s image or likeness for any current or future promotional consideration.

Code of Conduct
NSC reserves the right to exclude any participant found to be engaging in harassing, disruptive, or unprofessional behavior from participating in the current event with no refund and reserves the right to exclude the offending individual from any further NSC events, trainings or other activities.

Artificial Intelligence Tools

1. Closed-Sourced AI Tools Only: Closed-Sourced AI tools are not publicly available and typically include enterprise or paid offerings. AI tools which may be open-sourced are typically publicly available or maintain the data to improve the tool for others. Open-Sourced AI tools are prohibited.

2. Note-Taking Assistance: AI tools may be used for personal note-taking purposes, provided that:

  1. The tool does not record or transcribe the voices of other participants.
  2. The tool operates solely on the participant’s own input (e.g., typed notes).

3. Post-Forum Analysis: Participants may use AI tools to analyze their own notes or materials after the forum, provided that no sensitive or identifying information about other participants is included.

To ensure compliance with this policy and protect participant privacy, the following conditions must be met:

1. Disclosure and Consent: Participants intending to use AI tools must disclose their intended use to the forum organizer before the session begins. The organizer will notify all participants and obtain their consent.

2.  Data Protection: Any AI tool used must comply with industry standards for data security and privacy, as required by law for the protection of sensitive information.

The following uses of AI technology are strictly prohibited during forums:

1. Recording or transcribing conversations without the consent of all participants.

2. Using AI tools to analyze or infer sensitive information about other participants.

3. Sharing or disseminating any data generated by AI tools without prior written approval from National Safety Council and the consent of affected participants.
